The Chinese Embassy held Army Day Reception on July 27

The Defense, Naval and Air Attaché of the P.R. of China in Poland Snr. Col. XUE GANG and his wife Qin Wanbin hosted the Army Day Reception at the Chinese Embassy in Poland on July 27, 2010 to celebrate the 83rd Anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

About 100 persons from Polish Armed Forces, Defense Attaché Association in Poland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament including Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Maj. Gen. Slawomir DYGNATOWSKI, Chief of Staff of Land Forces Maj. Gen. Andrzej MALINOWSKI, General Director of the Ministry of Defense Mr. Jacek OLBRYCHT attended the reception. The Chinese Ambassador Mr. SUN Yuxi and his wife MA Hua as well as the diplomats of the Chinese Embassy were present.

Friendliness. The guests extended their congratulations to the host on the 83rd Anniversary of the founding of the Chinese PLA as well as on China’s economic development and achievements in other fields. The reception was accompanied by a photo exhibition that gave a glimpse of the PLA in military exercises, daily training and disaster relief in 2010. Besides, a small-scale exhibition of traditional Chinese paintings also attracted some guests.
